Tinubu commissions accommodation, facilities at newly constructed Bola Ahmed Tinubu Barracks

President Bola Tinubu has officially commissioned the newly completed Bola Ahmed Tinubu Barracks, which features a range of accommodation facilities for military personnel.

The complex includes 16 quarters for Major Generals, 34 for Brigadier Generals, 60 flats for Major to Colonel ranks, 60 flats for Lieutenants and Captains, 180 flats for Senior Non-Commissioned Officers, and 264 flats for Corporals and lower-ranked personnel.

This was disclosed via videos shared on the X handle of the Special Assistant to the President on Social Media, on Thursday, January 23.

The caption reads: “President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR) Commissions the accommodation and facilities in the newly constructed Bola Ahmed Tinubu Barracks which includes 16 Major General Quarters, 34 Brigadier General Quarters, 60 Major – Colonel Flats, 60 Lieutenant – Captain Flats, 180 Senior Non Commissioned Officers Block Flats, 264 Corporal and Below Flats.

“There are also worship centres, sports facilities and a power house in the Barracks. There is also a good road network, parking space and overhead/ground water tanks as well as hard and soft land.”
