Four persons have been killed by a mysterious thunder at Ago Dada, near Ala village/Imafon in Akure North local government area of Ondo State.
The incident occurred on Wednesday when the victims were playing football.
They were said to be farmers from other neighbouring states.
A similar incident was said to have occurred last year in the area when nine persons were struck and killed by a thunderstorm.
Police spokesman, Funmilayo Odunlami, a Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) confirmed the incident and said an investigation has commenced.
