Policemen in Ondo State have arrested a self-acclaimed cleric identified as Alfa Tunde Olayiwola with a fresh human head.
Olayiwola was arrested Thursday at Ajagbale area of Ondo town with a bag containing the fresh human head.
The suspect according to the police confessed that he wanted to use the human head to better his life.
The newly posted Commissioner of Police in the state, Oyeyemi Oyediran, told journalists that the suspect was arrested based on information.
The suspect, Ayodele Andrew Bankole, was arrested on the 17th of December at Enjoy Your Life Hotel after an attempt to escape failed.
According to the police commissioner, the suspect after killing his victim in the room jumped down the stairs of the hotel and took to his heels but he was pursued and brought back to the hotel.
When he was taken to the hotel room, a young lady of about 24 years was found in the pool of her blood with fresh injuries on her neck and chest. She was confirmed dead at the hospital.
However, he said the suspects would be charged to court at the conclusion of investigations.
