Kwara State Magistrate Court sitting in Ilorin yesterday remanded a pastor, Makanjula Olabisi Lanre, in prison for allegedly having carnal knowledge of three biological sisters.
Police report said that the defendant the accused pastor had persuaded the victims to attend his church around Agba Dam in the metropolis sometime in 2018.
The report said the pastor allegedly laid hand on the eldest of the three sisters for prayers, adding that when she declined his proposal to be his lover, he eventually raped her and her two siblings.
When the complainants (victims) as a result stopped attending the church, having discovered that the pastor had been taking sexual advantage of them, this was said to have infuriated pastor Lanre and he rained curses on the victims.
Prosecutor, Matthew Ologbosaye, urged the court to remand the pastor pending the outcome of the legal advice.
