The Deji and the Paramount Ruler of Akure Kingdom, Oba Aladetoyinbo Ogunlade Aladelusi has approved the appointment of Dr. Sunday Owoyemi as the OLUOMO of Akure Kingdom.
In a letter personally signed by Oba Aladetoyinbo Ogunlade, commends the efforts of Dr. Owoyemi in the area of industrializing and developing Akure communities and Ondo State at large.
The letter read in part “your appointment is as a result of your unrelenting efforts in assisting the youths, the less privileged and contributing your quota to the development of Akure Land”.
Dr. Sunday Owoyemi popularly known as “Sunny Owo” is an entrepreneur with special interest in cocoa business. He is also into the hospitability business and he is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Sunbeth Star Hotel, Akure. Mr. Owoyemi is an astute business man with good records of integrity in business and a philanthropists with impeccable character.
Barring any unforeseen circumstances, Mr. Sunday Owoyemi Samuel will be installed as OLUOMO on Sunday 20th June, 2021 at the Ojukoto’s court of the Deji’s Palace.
His Majesty urges the new chief to join him in building and developing Akure Kingdom. He equally wishes him well in all his endeavours.
