A non governmental organisation , Samuel Olutuyi Foundation has donated notebooks to pupils primary schools in Irun Akoko , Ondo State.
The exercise which took staff and volunteers of the foundation three days to conclude saw the notebooks being delivered to all the primary schools including the schools in the farmlands.
According to the Executive Director of the Foundation , Mr Olajide Olutuyi, this is a drop in the bucket and we implore all hands to be on deck so we can continue to empower our people.
He further disclosed how he felt sad seeing the notebooks being distributed in dilapidated school buildings .
Samuel Olutuyi Foundation will continue to contribute its portion to the development of our communities. The notebooks distribution will move to another community in Akoko shortly.
He charged the elites, political representatives and public spirited individuals to rise up and complement what the government is doing so we can have a just and equitable society .
