Be Gallant Soldiers- Aiyedatiwa charges newly passed out Soldiers of Ondo State origin.
Ondo State Deputy Governor, Hon Lucky Aiyedatiwa on Monday charged the newly passed out Soldiers who are indigens of Ondo State to live a life of worthy soldiers of emulation that is gallant and professional.
The Deputy Governor, while representing Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, gave this advice while hosting the newly passed out military officers who paid him courtesy visit at the Cocoa Conference Hall, Governor’s office, Alagbaka Akure.
His words, “i am impressed by the fact that despite the challenges, you successfully passed out from the military training” .
Aiyedatiwa further enjoined them on the need at all times to be “functional, discipline and effective in the war against terrorists, particularly as the country is presently passing through serious security challenges” .
He further described the young soldiers as the lucky few whom the State is proud of.
The Soldiers thanked the State Government for the audience as they promised to be alive to their responsibilities.
At the event with the Deputy Governor are, Secretary to the State Government, Princess Oladunni Odu, SSA to Governor on Security, Alhaji Jimoh Dojumo, Deputy Chief of staff, Prince Segun Omojuwa, Press Secretary to the Governor (Office of the Deputy Governor), Kenneth Odusola-Stevenson and Special Assistant to the Governor (New Media), Oladipupo Okunniga.
